Alright...

My semester is starting to bloom into it's rightful speedy pace, although I will miss the lazy days of the first two weeks. I have found my routine and am familiar with the best routes to my classes. It's been a pretty good week filled with some adventures from my acting class and other things. I do miss some aspects of my last semester like the friends I would see and my archaeology class which was difficult but oh so interesting. I miss my last semester a lot, a lot, a lot ( yes i said that in a British accent in my head.) It's the people...so much the people. It's an odd place to be. Yes. I don't think I have anymore thoughts to express about this, it's just upsetting is all. Don't have doubts, I'm loving this semester but last semester was just...better.

FA-CT "What?" Moments Happen!

Do you ever have those moments where you experience that "what?" feeling? It happens when you feel like you have finally solidly decided on something and then that is knocked out beneath your feet. I'm not talking majors here I'm talking like a resolution. You've finally come to a conclusion and that conclusion is wrong. Ah, one thing about me, I dislike being wrong. Actually, I don't think I'm that weird for disliking being wrong, it makes perfect sense with the realities we are presented and with a limitless amount of possibilities something as simple as being wrong could topple your fragile balance of what is up and down is up.

Scenario: You make a friend and that friend stops talking to you because your time together is up, whether it be the end of a summer or an ending semester, possibly the change of pace in your life. Then you decide although you miss your friend you need to move on and again and gain new experiences...this becomes your reality. You wake up each morning roll out of bed, shower, brush your teeth, get in your car and do what you do. You become used to the pace, you know what to expect. Then BAM. Right back into the brain this person comes. It's a call, it's a text, an e-mail, a silly "lol" on a facebook status. Suddenly, this person is real again. They've interrupted your balance and that, in itself is completely utterly perlexingly maddening to me!
I understand it's good to reconnect with some people it could actually be a happy occasion but honestly why now? Of all times? Why now? There was time before and after. Suddenly, you are aware that this person acknowledges you still exist and that is nice, yet...weird. They've messed up your groove there an extra thing you have to think about after reading ten articles of gibberish. It's odd. It's exciting. It's you.
Hahah, just saying, I had this happen to me many of times and each time it is just as surprising as the last time. Maybe even more. Haha my point is, don't let this slow you down, it's just a dip in the road and who knows? Maybe you can even get a snow cone on the ride down the hill of life. The trees are getting taller and I'm getting older and hopefully wiser...soon there will be a clearing and I'll know where I'm going...eventually.

Near Death Encounter? No thanks.

This week has been anything but ordinary. I found myself in a life or death situation, contemplating the things I want to do with my future and if the path I am on is even the right one. No, I'm not trying to be Pocahontas in her canoe trying to figure out if she should take the smoothest course...more in the way where I don't know what I want. So imagine, you're in a canoe, you have your ore but you have no idea where to go you are already so far down stream that you cannot go back up but not ready to go down because you haven't made your decision yet. I've wanted to be a writer since I was thirteen and now I don't feel as if that is the right course for me. I don't know my talent in anything else though. My mind is boggled and I'm so conflicted, haha. Dramatic.
On with that pointless spiel, the day I almost died consisted of my and three of my closest friends going to the DI ( a second hand store) to purchase ugly dresses for a party we were to set up. While deciding what dresses to wear we went in and found some dresses that were very very very ugly. On our way back to take the rejects back to their rightful places on the racks, I found a great dress. It was a white eyelet lace number with a blue sash, very pioneerish. My friend Brianne had headed over to the far racks and I wanted her to try on the dress. So she proceeded to go around all the racks of clothing to head over to me to see the dress. Upon viewing the dress she said " That's Awesome" that's when I was shoved into a clothes rack, the woman who shoved me barreled past me her eyes wild and angry. For a minute we were just all shocked. The dress was still clutched in my hands as I worked myself out of the clothing rack. Once up and properly organized I was still in shock, I could feel the tears pricking my eyes because it was just so rude.
My friends calmed me down and we went back to looking at dresses. Meanwhile, the woman came back, with her cart infront of her she looked down and the bowls within the cart and grabbed them. I looked at her slightly confused as she held the bowls, eyes darting to the ground. CRASH. She threw a bowl. CRASH. And another bowl. Shattering ceramic shards explode across the ground and somehow throughout the commotion I flee the scene. I don't remember fleeing the scene. My friends and I find ourselves outside in the clearing between the couches and dresses, the people viewing the scene looked just as shocked, yet amused as us.
Immediately we decide we must leave for our own safety. So we do. We walk over to the register purchase a six dollar dress and head out the doors. While crossing the street we notice round head lights coming directly towards us. We expect the car to slow down but instead it speeds up, in flight mode we run between two parked cars. And the woman being as sick and twisted as she is swerves to keep trying to hit us.

Ah 2012 that rings a bell yeah?

Sigh, the things you think you know until you don't know them anymore. Hahah, this New Year has brought in a new set of things I need to sort through. It's brought back people that hurt me in the past and it also brought back excitement. Although, my new year was not spent like everyone elses' it was spent in a basement of a friends dancing to music. I know that may seem strange, doing that on New Years but it was much more riviting than it sounds. The people I spent New Years with are my life, not exactly but you know. They have done so much for me and I appreciate them so much for being my friends in fact I appreciate them so much for just tolerating me. I find hope when I am with them and I feel at peace. I think everyone should have friends like them where you are completely free to be  yourself. Ah, 2012 this is just the start to a whole new adventure with my friends and a whole bunch of obstacles that 2011 has prepared us for. Get ready because we'll get there eventually....
